Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance test for the candidates who want to take admission into UG, PG and integrated law courses. It is conducted on rotational basis by 18 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admission to their UG and PG degree programs. For this year the CLAT conducted by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. The CLAT scores are used by other private law colleges all over India. Eligibility Criteria |
Age Limit – Applicants must below the age of 20 years as on 1st July 2017 in case of General Category and in case of SC/ST/OBC/Specially Abled age must below 22 years as on 1st July 2017.
Education Qualification |
Applicants must obtained minimum qualification in qualifying examination (i.e. 10+2). Applicants of Unreserved/OBC/Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and other categories must have secure minimum 45% marks and in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST categories, must have to secure minimum 40% marks. Applicants who are appearing in qualifying examination in month of March/April 2017 are also eligible for CLAT 2017.

CLAT exam is based on objective type question and the duration of exam will be 2 hours and question paper contains questions from Elementary Mathematics or Numerical Ability, English and Comprehension, General Knowledge and current affairs, Legal Aptitude and Logical reasoning.
